I was at NPC Media this morning (sorry no pics guys), as most already know, both 7 & 9 play-out & Master Control are there, (NBN) Nine Northern NSW are also there & SCA TV are to be located there soon.
Not sure on the timeline, but I believe it’s sooner rather than later for the SCA TV move to NPC, their location on the floor is already fitted out & being used by Nine.
Sounds like they’re on track to be in by the middle of the year date given in the initial press release.

I believe it’s March/April, SCA’s canberra staff are moving in April and playout isn’t moving with them
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, but what’s with this logo on the new NTD studios at Mitchell Street? I understand it’s the logo for the Nine Entertainment Co as a whole, as opposed to the familiar “dots and number” logo which is used for their TV interests and on-air identity. AFAIK, all the other Nine studios use the numeric logo.
Nine publishing (SMH, The Age, etc) are probably also using the facility. Nine Radio (the old Macquaire) might even have a radio booth there for interviews, news, etc.
Using that logo covers the company’s broad assets now, not just television. I expect to see this appear more on facilities shared by Nine’s TV, print and radio.
Stumbled across this on the National Archives site, check out the commentary boxes at Kooyong in 1969. Interesting that TCN9 had their own box in Melbourne.
It now runs everything NZ Live used to, applied there recently great facilitates well fitted out and modern.

Surprised no ones commented yet, it’s only happened in the last couple of weeks & isn’t finalised yet but has been announced to the ASX, so I’ll give you this nugget.
Mirvac have entered into an agreement to purchase the Willoughby TCN 9 Studios site off the old developer, & they have also entered an agreement to purchase the adjoining TX site & tower off TX Australia.
What this means is, that Mirvac will now develop the entire site once Nine move out to North Sydney.
For those in Sydney or those wanting to get photos of the site do it soon, I believe the studios will be torn down before the end of the year & the tower will be gone within the next 12-18 months, maybe get yourself in a position to photograph all 3 Sydney towers in the one shot, because before too long, one of them will be gone forever & the Artarmon, Willoughby, Gore Hill triangle will be no more.

I wonder if they’ll have an open day for the public? I think GTV9 did when it closed its former Studios.
