Much more on that site after solely being 4ZZZ. Was it consolidated with the then 4MBS site nearby? I believe the original 4ZZZ tower is long gone replaced with a new tower with multiple services at Broadcast Park these days? Yes, they need to boost their security to point of having remote security camera monitoring if they don’t already.

I did get a look through Broadcast Park years ago: it had FMs ZZZ, MBS, Family Radio, Ethnic Broadcasting Association and Aboriginal Broadcasting Association upstairs and a heap of two-way bases downstairs. It was a very tidy site, not what you would expect at community radio.

I would love to see 10 make TVQ their big hub, but can’t see that happening as it’s too small and anything outside of Sydney apparently is a footnote according to all mainstream media outlets

I went up to Mt Alexander the other day. The BCV site is basically untouched and sealed since the fire due to asbestos issues etc. Just a Genset and small transmitter for a low power radio transmission is running off that tower from what I could gather. Guy wire tension looked ok on that tower.
Some demolition has occured on the BAI site, along with a patchwork of cables to bypass those destroyed at ground level. New cable channels to be constructed soon up to the tower at ground level.

Is this a permanent setup? How often do seven use it? I don’t know much about horse racing?
Would that portable have a control room. Or just green room facilities

I’ve seen it before, the building to the right is permanently there. That would provide a shot to the yard and finish post (I think), and I suspect the building to the left is a demountable that is always there as a either a control room (if they don’t use an OB truck)) and/or a green rom.
