Cool video of broadcast tower from top to bottom; plus adjacent towers in background.

A few weeks ago, a signal from another TV station started interfering with our tower on Orcas Island. We sent a crew out to investigate. They checked on the tower with our drone and in the process captured some really cool video of the area. @komonews pic.twitter.com/1nnedslHcE

Form ABC site at Toowong now redeveloped with some historical footage. 2 towers all sold out.

Update:

Video

Decades after it was abandoned because of a cluster of cancer cases, the former ABC site in Toowong has been transformed into apartment towers. The developer is confident the site is safe. It sold out before officially opening. pic.twitter.com/9gb1WVVpwh

The whole site was past its used by date even prior to the cancer cluster evacuation. Was a relic of decades past. Should have moved to higher ground when the TV block was flooded out in the 1974 floods.

Looking a bit shabby inside via those photos. Like water damage.

Place is totally gutted isn’t it. Might be lucky to still have a lighting grid, but nothing else.

It allows them to reasonably rapidly recover if something happens to their playout.
