British Television

This Morning has moved house! No longer at Television Centre, it is now live from Covent Garden, complete with new titles and a new studio - and ‘windows’ looking over the Thames! #ThisMorning pic.twitter.com/Hf2Mexi5qY

Loose Women also have a new studio, new desk and slightly new graphics. They no longer have an audience and the set has also been stripped back — and is it just me that sees LN in the corner as opposed to LW? 🫣 #LooseWomen https://t.co/lzQydAHQC5 pic.twitter.com/XFxVDT5VrL

Did someone in another thread ask about this the other day? Thought I remember seeing someone asking.

Anyway if it hasn’t been posted already, airing on UKTV Jan 27th.

So how did they link the two shows?

All Scottish news programmes on STV are expected to be cancelled on Wednesday as journalists stage a day of strike action.

The dispute is over compulsory redundancies and the end of a separate news service for the north of Scotland.

STV said the action was “ill-timed” as consultation with unions was ongoing.

Network programmes and advertising will not be affected by the strike.

It is also likely to mean a reduced news service on STV’s website.

Long and convoluted story, but basically a car accident partway between the locations of both shows saw the communities collide. It was actually pretty well done

The service they’re planning to cut is all that remains of STV North’s forebear, Grampian Television.

Ofcom should tell STV to shove it up their kilt.

ITV plc should adopt a Nine-esque approach by offering STV plc access to the ITV channel brands—potentially allowing STV to operate as ITV1 Scotland—alongside a shared arrangement to split the production costs of STV News outputs between STV and ITN.

Then you would run into this trouble.

The upcoming Love Island All Stars from South Africa has been postponed due to bushfires in the area. The villa had to be evacuated with pre-production unable to proceed. Producers had hoped to go to air Monday but obviously not.

…but it is 99% sure to retain rights anyway.

Australian Open and US Open both changed from their long time broadcasters in recent years. Fingers crossed Wimbledon will not be the next.

Yes! Mock The Week’s back! Get in there son!
