Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will continue to be produced by ITV Studios and will be broadcast from a new location in central London. Broadcast reports that all three shows will now be located at the former The Hospital Club site in Covent Garden, which has previously been home to shows including Richard Osman’s House Of Games and Strictly: It Takes Two.

Perhaps unsurprisingly it will seemingly be a downscale with only one studio available at that venue, although Loose Women will lose it’s studio audience and Lorraine at only half an hour will probably just be an interview with a guest and a contributor.

Currently Lorraine and Loose Women share a studio with a full change of set in between the two shows (whilst This Morning is on air) and other shows in the studio at other times during the week, including political show Peston and cooking/chat show Sunday Brunch.

This Morning currently shares a studio with GMB but it is physically split into two with each having a permanent standing set. You’d expect all three shows to have a standing set (as they’ll have sacked all the scenary team no doubt!) but imagine Loose Women and Lorraine will get a corner of the This Morning studio and basically share a set, swapping out a sofa with a desk. That is kind of what happens now with the Loose Women backdrop changed to using the screen from Lorraine a couple of years back.
