i was thinking exactly that lol!

Lorraine Kelly’s days at ITV must surely be numbered. She’d be expensive talent, and her show has been bleeding viewers to Morning Live on BBC1 for a while now.

They really should bring everything forward

GMB 6-9:30, TM 9:30-12:00 and Loose 12-1

You want to axe Lorraine? :open_mouth:

Not saying ‘want to’ - she’s an icon! But she’d be expensive talent, and her show runs a distant second to its BBC competitor!

Would it be fair to assume that the Lorraine slot will continue to be produced following her 30-week stint, potentially with a rotation of guest presenters?

No. GMB will be an extra half hour when she’s not on

I’m pretty sure Lorraine will be gone at the end of her contract. This is just ITV easing her out. I suspect the shorter shows are so she can pre-record some of them earlier in the week.

I’d like to see the ‘lunchtime’ news go back to 12:30. 1:30 just isn’t the same, IMO. But that would disrupt the flow so it won’t happen.

I found this zoomed in shot of the news presenter on “Good Afternoon Britain” on FOXTEL GBN Channel 658 to be way too close for my liking

We haven’t have an exact date for ITVBe to relaunch yet, but they’re ready to say Bye Bye. Promos on the programming move aired a week or two ago.

We also have a sneak peek of the ITV Quiz branding - ketchup and fries, anyone?

ITV Quiz - sponsored by McDonalds :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

in all seriousness, will be interesting to see if ITV Quiz follows the same ident concept as ITV1-4, with it being same footage, but different scenarios, or if it’ll do something else…

It’s because the presenter is sat in front of a relatively small TV screen with that image on it.

UPDATE: Channel 4 responds

ITV Be has closed as scheduled, and was replaced, after a few hours of slide, by ITV Quiz.

I see they’ve spared no expense with the idents.

A former Bargain Hunt art expert has been jailed for two years and six months for failing to declare art he sold to a suspected financier of Hezbollah.

In the first prosecution of its kind, Oghenochuko Ojiri, 53, admitted eight counts under the Terrorism Act 2000 of failing to make a disclosure during the course of business before his sentencing at the Old Bailey on Friday. Hezbollah is a group proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the UK.

He came to public prominence with appearances in the BBC series Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, before hitting the big time on Bargain Hunt, in 2019.

He has also appeared on Channel 5’s Storage: Flog the Lot! In 2021, he joined Antiques Road Trip.
