Was that a driving range? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: Looks like nobody could be arsed collecting all the golf balls?

It was a driving range. I saw a FB post yesterday about lights going out at the driving range, and that a couple missed the final chance to putt at the 18th green when the announcement was made about the closure.

With six years to go, funding for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games is starting to flow.

The budget forecasts a total expenditure of $417 million in the next financial year for Games venues, including Brisbane’s stadium at Victoria Park.

This includes a contribution of $357.7 million from the state, with the Commonwealth making up the rest.

A total expenditure of $348 million is forecast in 2026-27 for the athletes’ villages, which are being delivered in partnership with the private sector within a total funding envelope of $3.5 billion.
