Nedd Brockmann’s iced coffee brand has jumped into the middle of a stuff up by competitor Dare with an offer to “show some care for Dare unlucky losers”.

On Wednesday, Dare Iced Coffee mistakenly sent out emails to customers who entered its “Daremergency” competition, informing them they had won a $1,000 prize.

Hours later, the company sent a red-faced apology, informing its competition ‘winners’ a “technical error occurred and, upon review, we can confirm that you were not a valid winner”.

How much sugar would be in those bars?

Less than a chocolate bar but more than a plain muesli bar.

Huh. I’d thought it’d be more than that.

Yeah. Only a bit more than a regular muesli bar.

Five species of carnivorous mammals could be wiped out by common poisons that are regularly sold over the counter by Aussie retailers including Bunnings, Mitre 10, Coles and Woolworths. I’m not sure who that imposter is who makes BBQ sauce. But it ain’t the real Eta.

The Eta brand above has a different owner to the Australian Eta brand (which is owned by Goodman Fielder).

Yes that’s right. ETA sauces, dressings and margarine are owned by Goodman Fielder.

The Peanut Butter was owned by New Zealand company Griffins which now seems to be owned by Brittania Foods NZ Ltd, an Indian-based company.

Pretty sure you’ll find it’s an Aotearoa brand.

Why are you randomly posting about Weet-Bix now? Weet-Bix is from the Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing Company which was founded in Melbourne in 1898 by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
