Bought Chicken In A Biskit yesterday, opened them today and immediately knew it wasn’t the same as what I’ve been buying the last few months.

Not as much flavour, weird texture and gets a bit gluggy in the mouth. Then I noticed the “Limited Edition” banner missing from the packaging.

Fair to say they have changed either the recipe/manufacturing location. Such a shame!

Looks like they introduced a new Toblerone logo earlier this year too

Costco has also been clearing these (in that case, a 12pk with Froot Loop and Coco Pops flavours) - it’s surplus stock from the NZ market.

Former MasterChef contestant Brendan Pang launches his dumplings range in selected Woolworths supermarkets across Australia from today. They are available in pork and ginger dumplings, chicken and prawn dumplings and classic juicy pork xiao long bao.

That’s big money for 280 grams of frozen food. I bet they won’t last 12 months before they’re discontinued.

They’ll no doubt face stiff competition from fellow MasterChef alumni Diana Chan’s similarly sized products, which are regularly on half price and below four bucks.

Revlon has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the US.

Collins Foods chief executive Drew O’Malley says the fast-food restaurant owner will likely lift menu prices at its local KFC stores for the third time this year as costs mushroom, but will keep increases below headline inflation to maintain value for consumers. 261 KFC stores in Australia would need to maintain a blend of cabbage and lettuce for its burgers for at least the next four to six weeks until supplies are replenished.

I saw “mushroom” while skimming through that and thought wtf

Yeah. Just leave the mushrooms out. :stuck_out_tongue:

KFC are already way too expensive.

Most obvious thing to me would be to switch to post-mix at the stores, that’s got to add a lot to how much each meal sells for - when they could sell 20 cents worth of mixture in a cup and keep their menu price lower.

It wasn’t uncommon to see post mix in some KFC stores going back 10-20 years, but it all got ripped out at some point. Similar with Subway actually!

The Honey & Oat ones sound interesting.

The Cheese and Pizza ones just look like Shapes crackers in a Bluey box.

I prefer post mix with a fast food meal.

At least post mix is cold. KFC bottled drinks are never cold enough.

Speaking of Post Mix, when I went to a KFC in Sydney back in 2017 I was weirded out about that store having post mix drinks rather than bottles that I thought they changed it at all KFCs.
