Most half price specials are either loss-leaders to get people into the store or funded / rebates provided by the manufacturer.
There are some products that I only buy if they are 50% off at Woolies or Coles:
- Washing detergent
- Breakfast cereals
- Chocolate
- Chips
- Coffee pods (rarely 50% of but often 25% off)
Alsoā¦
Fabric Softener
Toiletries like shower gel, liquid soap, deodorant
I stock up big then donāt have to worry about it for a long time
Pepsi Max, and luckily since weāve had an IGA open up just down the road theyāve also had it at a good special price from time to time
Always $1.96 for 2L at The Reject Shop. Great value if you donāt mind big bottles.
Iām a strange one. I cannot stand Pepsi Max, so I drink Coke No Sugar instead but I rather Pepsi over Coke.
Coke Vanilla No Sugar Iāve been drinking lately.
You can say that again. I prefer Pepsi Max over Coke No Sugar but would rather have Coke over Pepsi.
Just the smell of it makes me dry wretch.
wish they would bring back Pepsi Max Raspberry, Lime or Lemon.
I couldnāt find this last time I was in the supermarket, but usually buy them in 1.25L bottles when on special.
That looks so bad but at the same time I want one
Not sure with Woolworths but Coles sell them in the 375ml 10 packs. The Subway near me sell them in the 600mls.
There was a time when Stone & Wood wouldnāt allow their beer on tap unless someone from the company came and configured the tap themselves. They were fiercely protective of their product and seeing their beer outside the Northern Rivers was a genuine surprise.
Frankly Iām doubtful that they will maintain the same levels of quality after this buyout, but Iām willing to be surprised.
I had the Kit Kat Aero chunky tonight and it was good, but essentially tasted just like an Aero.
So just an Aero inside a Kit Kat Chunky?
Yeah pretty much!
Bought the new Cheesy Garlic Pizza Shapes today and now Iāve discovered thereās Fried Chicken and Chilli Cheese too.
I also saw this new Aero Caramel.

Why must everything be caramel-ised.
I guess Caramilk was a success so then every brand needs to jump on board and see if it works.
