National Australia Bank had agreed to buy Citigroup’s Australian operations in a $1.2 billion deal that will see it become the nation’s second largest credit card issuer.
…and the “CitiBank” name is likely to eventually be phased out in favour of NAB’s already well known brand?
I’d say so. Then again it could be kept separate as it is a well-known worldwide brand.
I guess it’d depend on brand licensing agreements and such, but either way you’d think NAB is a considerably higher profile name in this country than CitiBank is.
They’d be smarter to keep both brands.
NAB’s statement on the acquisition doesnt appear to mention what will happen with the branding
What will be interesting is to see if NAB can keep the business of the “white labels” that were piggybacking on Citi to provide card services (which is a decent amount of Citi’s business)
Well if it worked with Coco Pops…

Hello, LEGO Group?
Made for those who don’t like pineapple on pizza.
Saw new Rosemary and Sea Salt Jatz in Coles today.

Pineapple on pizza is good in concept but when you actually taste it, it’s quite disgusting. At least to me.
I like pineapple on pizza, but I guess it depends where u get the pizza from.
You’re a bit behind on those two ![]()
The Shapes flavour is reasonably accurate but not particularly enjoyable. Rosemary Jazz are good - I think there’s a poppyseed variety too, in a yellow box.
