Karen Webb is sounding and looking like a deer in the headlights when the reporters are questioning her.

I mean there isnāt much of an impact to the network in preempting the programming tonight.
I do have to say, the Commissioner is an embarrassment. The way she presented that press conference the after pauses after her sentences.
Not knowing actual detail and having to pass onto someone, which she didnāt end up doing.
After the tragic murders of Jesse and Luke, she continues to fumble through.

Completely agree. I know the situation is unfolding and very tough to relive, but she just comes across as a complete amateur hour on this and what happened with Jesse and Luke before. Itās like she doesnāt even know half of what sheās doing.
And with reporters asking questions she just doesnāt even know how to answer it in a good way, unfortunately.

Thought they would of gotten her public speaking and PR training ASAP.
You can tell it was a placeholder until their resources were available.
Pete Stefanovic cohosting with Holly Stearnes from around 6:15pm, he then took over from 7pm along Laura Jayes at Bondi. Few reporters there too.
Sky have been great with their coverage too - great guests chatting about the incident.
When you compare Assistant Commissioner Cookeās performance earlier to Commissioner Webbās performance just now, it shows just how much she struggles in these situations.
