Feel like the Australian networks apart from 9 aren’t nailing it.
ABC Melbourne had literally a 2 minute report. Like it’s not good enough from the national broadcaster.
Fair enough 7 had to go to live sport. You can understand that. But ABC is meant to be here for moments like this.

Slightly controversial take - but I think this is reasonable. The breaking nature of the news has passed, ABC is unlikely to run eyewitness accounts like the commercials might (and have) and there is unlikely to be anything new to add.

Why should the abc run eyewitness accounts? I think that’s exactly what they should be doing.
