Finally. No disrespect to the victims of this attack. But 9News were going a bit overboard showing like 10 different reporters doing 10 live crosses in all markets, for the first 25mins of the news. I understand this for Sydney local and other markets should’ve only got 10mins or so. Especially when what we were seeing was the same footage over and over again.

It won’t happen but if 10 were smart, they’d turn the usual local Perth news that airs at 7pm AEST into a national bulletin and air it around the country.

Very different coverage on all networks tonight and in various markets, most interesting 7 Melbourne & 7 Brisbane.
I’m trying to understand why Seven went down this path.
No ad breaks on Nine since I’ve been watching.

I understand wanting to run the main 6pm news as close as possible in Melbourne/Brisbane to normal time but I do think there’s enough interest in Sydney’s rolling coverage to justify it being put on say 7two/9GO! while the main 6pm news airs other stories.

They couldn’t have found a more unreliable witness if they tried. This woman was too busy presenting a Lulu lemon advertorial interspersed with the worst takes and speculation ever. More like seeking her 15 mins of fame. Just ridiculous editorial decision to air her.
