OFFICIAL TRAILER RELEASED FOR SEASON TWO OF

THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR

C OMING TO BINGE JULY 16

The drama is back - with new neighbours in tow! BINGE today released the official trailer for season two of THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR, the deliciously twisted psychological drama. The new chapter will premiere July 16 on BINGE, with episodes dropping weekly.

Season two stars Sam Palladio (Nashville, The Princess Switch), Annabel Scholey (The Split, The Sixth Commandment), Aggy K Adams (The Witcher, Greek Salad) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (One Piece, Never Have I Ever), alongside returning favourite Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered, Not Going Out).

Written by David Allison (Bedlam, Marcella) and directed by Dries Vos (Suspect, Professor T), this second series will see viewers venture back into the claustrophobic world of the cul-de-sac and explore the fallout of taking your fantasies and making them reality.

Brilliant heart surgeon Charlotte Roberts (Annabel Scholey) and her husband, consultant anaesthetist Jacob (Sam Palladio) are a high-flying busy married couple. But things soon turn upside down when their mysterious new hospital colleague Mia (Aggy K Adams) rents out the house next door. Working her way into Charlotte and Jacob’s confidence and eventually their bed, Mia also quickly befriends cul-de-sac outcast Alan (Hugh Dennis) whilst Charlotte has to handle the reappearance of past flame Leo (Sendhil Ramamurthy).

However, it’s not long before Mia’s past comes back to haunt her, leading Charlotte and Jacob to question who she really is, especially when patients at the hospital mysteriously start dying. But one thing is clear, giving into desires can have deadly consequences…

This series is loosely adapted from Scandi drama ‘Dopamin’ made by Kamikaze Film CPH, format sales by REinvent International Sales, and the Dutch format ‘The Neighbors’ made by Millstreet Films on which series one was based.

Jo McGrath and Walter Iuzzolino serve as executive producers for Eagle Eye Drama and the producer is Jennifer Burnet. THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR is being produced in association with Happy Duck Films and is supported by the Belgian Tax Shelter. Eagle Eye Drama and Happy Duck Films are part of ITV Studios. Beta Film will internationally distribute the series.

THE COUPLE NEXT DOOR season 2 will be available to stream Wednesday 16 July on BINGE, with episodes dropping weekly. Also available On Demand on FOXTEL.

Some key deals for the immediate future and keeping/attracting subs for Stan and Binge

They also have licencing agreements with Netflix and Seven/7Plus and smaller ones with Paramount Plus and SBS/SBS On Demand.

You’ll often find that if in the same window (Pay 2/svod vs CFTA), they’ll have rights to a title at different times, it does happen but it’s rare that say Stan and Binge will both have the same film or show, but Seven or SBS might have the same one that Stan or Binge have.

OFFICIAL TRAILER RELEASED FOR CHILLING TRUE CRIME DOCUMENTARY

THE IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS

COMING TO BINGE AUGUST 1

BINGE today released the official trailer for THE IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS, a gripping new true crime documentary exploring one of the most horrifying and baffling murder cases in recent U.S. history. The 90-minute feature documentary will premiere August 1, streaming on BINGE.

THE IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS explores the real-life horror in the idyllic town of Moscow, Idaho where 28-year-old criminology student Bryan Kohberger faced four first-degree murder charges and the death penalty for the savage murder of four students - Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. At a July 2, 2025 court appearance, Bryan Kohberger shockingly changed his plea to guilty on all counts of the four murders.

The documentary features raw, never-before-seen interviews with friends of the victims as well as Goncalves’ brother. It focuses a lens on the evidence against Kohberger, exploring the why and delving into his past, including his troubled relationships with women, and the possible motivations that drove him to commit such heinous crimes.

Although the murders sent shockwaves across America, this gripping story has remained largely under the radar for Australian audiences - until now.

THE IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS documentary is produced in connection with the podcast “The Idaho Massacre” from KT Studios and iHeartMedia. It is directed by Catharine Park with Executive producers, Stephanie Lydecker and Catharine Park.

THE IDAHO STUDENT MURDERS will be available to stream from Friday 1 August on BINGE, as well as on FOXTEL.

The Age Green Guide today has an interview article with Mark Humphries on the documentary.

What are your thoughts about the value of Binge currently? It’s so cheap I feel it’s still not too bad even though there’s now only ever one or two new shows worth watching every few months. They seem to be focusing a lot on Binge Originals just like Stan does with its original titles.

There are some old shows that I’ve been catching up on so that’s the value for me. With the loss of shows and movies to other streamers I can see a decline for Binge but if it’s cheap it might be worth keeping.

If you can score one of the cheap deals they are offering, I think either $5 a month or $39 for a year then go for it.

I like my news, so it works out cheaper then Flash plus I get a couple of other live channels with it.

Why dont they merge Flash with Binge?

Distribution agreements with the channels that aren’t on Foxtel perhaps?

Maybe further down the line. I mean you see several Kayo matches on Binge now

If i got that annual offer i would subscribe

Would be nice, Binge misses out on the ondemand content that Flash has.
