CMO’s has a clear dislike for anything News Corp related.
Binge’s future under DAZN will be very interesting to see play out, as has been said a few times I can’t see them keeping the service, which is not to say that it can’t find it’s own value proposition outside of HBO content departing if they’re smart about the next steps, but I don’t think it’s future lies within what it’s new owners specialise in.

THE DAILY SHOW, the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning American late-night talk show, will be available to stream on BINGE starting April 2 with new episodes from Season 30 dropping every Wednesday to Saturday at 8:30PM.
THE DAILY SHOW is a satirical news television program, hosted by Jon Stewart, drawing its comedy and insight from recent news stories, political figures, and media organisations. Season 30 will feature Jon Stewart, Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic, Jordan Klepper and Michael Kosta who analyse the biggest stories in news, politics, and culture through a sharp, satirical lens.

Given a lot of brands do deals to be featured in shows that are poorly signposted (or not), its not all that surprising that brands may try and distance themselves from shows where they appear in an unsponsored way

There’s no reason why binge couldn’t have branded channels using its existing catalogue, it’s also a name that people recognise with streaming. Where foxtel is known for cable tv.
