Not surprised, it’s very good. Lots of likable characters too
OFFICIAL TRAILER AND KEY ART RELEASED FOR
NEW DRAMA SERIES
PREMIERES 27 FEBRUARY ON BINGE
The official trailer and key art for the new drama series SMALL TOWN, BIG STORY have been released ahead of its double-episode premiere on 27 February on BINGE.
Emmy award-nominee Christina Hendricks (Good Girls, Mad Men) and BAFTA award-winning Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon) star in SMALL TOWN, BIG STORY - a warm and witty, very dramatic comedy created and directed by Chris O’Dowd (Moone Boy).
The six-part series is about the fictional town of Drumbán, a rural town on the border of Ireland and another world, and what happens when a Hollywood TV production rolls into town and throws the spotlight on a secret that has been kept hidden since the eve of the Millennium.
Christina Hendricks stars as Wendy Patterson, a local girl done good as a hot-shot television producer, who returns to her hometown from LA with a Hollywood production in tow. Back in the chaotic microcosm of Drumbán, Wendy is caught between her past and her epic new production. Paddy Considine stars as Drumbán’s local doctor and pillar of the community, Séamus Proctor, who soon finds himself in the eye of a storm as a celluloid circus descends, which threatens to blow open a secret he has been harboring since the Millennium.
SMALL TOWN, BIG STORY was commissioned by Sky Studios for Sky. The comedy drama is produced by Playground, FilmNation Entertainment and HotCod Productions in association with Sky Studios. Executive producers are Scott Huff and Colin Callender for Playground, Glen Basner, Milan Popelka and Stefanie Berk for FilmNation Entertainment, and Alex Moody for Sky Studios. Christina Hendricks and Chris O’Dowd are executive producers, Liz Gill is series producer. Directors include Chris O’Dowd, Catherine Morshead, as well as Mike Ahern and Enda Loughman. NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution handle international sales of the series on behalf of Sky Studios.

OFFICIAL TRAILER AND KEY ART RELEASED FOR
THE PARENTING
STARRING LISA KUDROW
PREMIERES 13 MARCH ON BINGE
The official trailer and key art for THE PARENTING has been released ahead of its March 13 premiere on BINGE.
The hilariously terrifying comedy stars Lisa Kudrow, Nik Dodani, Brandon Flynn, Brian Cox, Edie Falco, Dean Norris, Parker Posey, and Vivian Bang and is directed by Craig Johnson; written by Kent Sublette; produced by Chris Bender and Jake Weiner; executive producers Richard Brener, Chris Pan, David Neustadter, and Jared Ian Goldman.
THE PARENTING follows young couple Rohan (Nik Dodani) and Josh (Brandon Flynn) as they plan a perfect weekend getaway in the country to introduce their parents. As tensions begin to flare between the more traditional Sharon (Edie Falco) and Frank (Brian Cox) and the laid-back Liddy (Lisa Kudrow) and Cliff (Dean Norris), the families soon realize that their rental – managed by eccentric local Brenda (Parker Posey)– is haunted by the presence of a 400-year-old poltergeist. When one parent becomes thoroughly possessed, it’s up to the young couple and their meddlesome BFF Sara to unite the families and stop the evil entity once and for all.
THE PARENTING premieres March 13 on BINGE, available on Hubbl, and is available April 4 on Foxtel and On Demand.

Margaret Pomeranz shares her honest review of Australian reality TV series FBoy Island.
Bit late Margaret, show was on many months ago!
In this age of streaming, the shows don’t have a “use by” date.
Noticing that all three of these games are all available on free to air on 7 anyways.
They’re keeping the Foxtel/Kayo exclusive content behind that paywall, and only putting out the games where you can see all free to air on Binge; essentially giving Binge users who don’t have a Kayo/Foxtel a sample of what the paid product is.
Starting this year, domestic netball matches will also be available on Binge. It began last weekend with the pre-season Team Girls Cup in Adelaide.
(I have to post here as I am not able to make more than five consecutive posts in the Foxtel Netball thread)
