Will definitely hurt the streaming numbers for BB being on the same night, despite what some people might think of it Love Island is a major streaming hit.

I hope the appeal of being live/filmed only days ago will draw people towards BB.
The producers have less editing time to create plot lines months in advance instead of being more constricted by the fast turnaround.
I think there’s room for both.
Love Island drops at 12pm and BB doesn’t start until 7:30pm on 10 and roughly 9pm if you’re watching on the 10 app.
Plenty of time to watch Love Island before BB.

Are segments of Mel and the studio audience on the Tuesday, Thursday and daily shows filmed on one of the live show days (Monday, Wednesday, Sunday)? Or do they do some audience filming on daily show days as well?
Will be visiting Brissy next month and wouldn’t mind joining the audience, but plans don’t line up with a live show night.

I think opening night is pre-recorded for most years (even back in the golden age of the show).
