Big Brother

Mel Tracina admitted they used AI to make it.

The promo was shown in full in the ad break, and I could see lots of AI-generated scenes.

The AI use is so obvious… is that a good or bad thing? :joy:

Wonder if the song was also AI?

She mentioned it was Auto Tuned. :slightly_smiling_face:

They rewrote the lyrics to “It’s Oh So Quiet” which was a song released by Icelandic musician Björk in 1995. It was actually a cover of the German song “Und jetzt ist es still” performed by Horst Winter in 1948, later sung in English by American singer Betty Hutton in 1951.

The promo clip with lyrics

The promo is so mediocre and a lot of AI use, reminds me of the I’m A Celeb promos. Which is not a good thing.

Costs? Yikes it already looked cheap last year

There will be more cost cutting to this season? They didn’t even have a roof, chairs and enough umbrellas for the eviction stage last year.
What more will they be cutting from this season? Apart from a possible smaller backyard…

Looking forward to this so much, in spite of doomsday McKnight. Thought the Mel promo was fun.

Let’s just be thankful we are getting Big Brother, it should be the housemates that make it

Did Someone Say Housewarming Party?

Big Brother Moves In This October.

It’s almost time to peel the plastic off the Diary Room chair: Big Brother is opening the doors to his new Bris-Vegas digs this October.

Television’s most mischievous mastermind has been quiet while he plans his move, but all that is about to change.

“I’ll be back on your screens and inside your heads this October. Hope you’re ready for me,” teased Big Brother.

Put the personalised chopping board down: Big Brother doesn’t want any housewarming trinkets. And the ‘Live Laugh Love’ poster? Big Brother has much more in store than the three Ls.

The only thing on Big Brother’s wish list is a house full of Aussies ready to speak their minds, create chaos, and throw the party of a century.

Check out why the original social experiment is worth the song and dance:

Big Brother Returns (Under A Brand-New Roof) This October.

Watch + Stream Free On 10.

Does it matter? It’s just a network promo designed to generate buzz for the show.

A show thats entire premise is authenticity, with an ad that looks like the same AI slop its target demo sees in social media feeds every day. A winning strategy!

Beyond the AI use, 10 have been doing these musical song and dance style ad since 2018 (for I’m A Celeb)? It’s so boring and safe. If budget was an issue they could have done anything else, probably something more suited to the show.

We thought and hoped this year’s BB would be a significant improvement on last year’s return, but for all we know it might disappoint :man_shrugging:

I really got into last year’s, was glued to every ep including live-stream and for the first time since probably 2007. Despite some faults and not being perfect. DreamWorld and the housewas a big part of that, as with the OG, so definitely trepidation already.

To each their own, for me it can only get better. Last year was a poor cheap imitation of BB imo.
