A pushback was brought up early in the season “if everything was good”.
Wonder what they are.

Many Housemates would go on this show expecting a potential revenue stream after, be it socials, media or some other job opportunity.
The short nature of the show will pretty much mean most housemates will be all but forgotten after Christmas.
I don’t really see any of these housemates going on to anything else once the show ends. Holly clearly wants exposure and I can see them putting her into the jungle next year.
Hopefully the successful ratings mean that next year they run a longer season (10 or so weeks) and add Uncut/Up Late and Friday Night Live.
With how overproduced this season has been and producer favouritism towards certain housemates I never seen them airing a show like Uncut again.
I suppose 10 have proof of concept and can go sell to advertisers and sponsors for a longer next season. They are very light on sponsors this year and it’s probably too late for any to come on board but you can imagine there will be a lot of interest in a 7.30 program that wins across the demos including +50% shares in 16-39.
Maybe they can rope in a car brand and offer a car as a surprise part of the prize.
Holden, Mitsubishi … where you at?
Holden doesn’t exist anymore ![]()
Wishful thinking still I’d say, I agree these would be great and nostalgic. Friday Night Live would be the best bet for 10 if anything, however probably diluted and fatigued by Seven’s version. Uncut would be my personal choice (live or pre-recorded weekly or nightly), as I feel the 24/7 live stream kind of gives us what UpLate would do and not sure 10 would have the budget nor timeslots available for it, not wanting to really bother. And we’re not getting a true uncut from the stream.
But Big Brother UpLate was different to Uncut/Adults Only/Big Mouth though.
The former was essentially another show, almost aimed as surplus or alternative to Daily Show viewers, airing very late most nights and often over a lengthy timeslot. It was usually live and Mike Goldman fronted it. There’d often be different material to what was packaged earlier and extras. It didn’t air for every season either. It used to be quite a popular program in its peak around 2004-2005.
The latter on the other hand was usually once a week, had a higher MA rating (hence its title), shorter run time and went for the entire series IIRC. It would air earlier too, around mid-evening. Don’t recall it always being live though. It aired unedited content, not censored for coarser swearing, sexual discussions, harsher or crude thematic material and full frontal nudity, often at the showers which were usually not obstructed with a screen or door. Gretel Killeen usually hosted this.
One good thing about this season ending so quickly is that this highly unlikeable cast will be off our screens sooner.
Last night the housemates got to see a private screening of Running Man, starring Glenn Powell. That has to be a first time a current movie is shown in the BB house.
There is no way BB would’ve shown any real content of that film, The Running Man (remake new theatrical release), for several reasons, not least of which violating legal terms of which “broadcast” is usually one, as well as copyright and spoilers.
I was surprised they actually showed the opening logo and title sequence.
Although, its studio Paramount own 10, so might’ve had some permission. It was no doubt a sponsored or free plug to viewers regardless.
Nothing shown in live stream?
That would be why the lounge room wasn’t shown at all on the livestream while the housemates were watching the movie. I fully believe they did actually screen the movie in the house.
That I’d watch
Is the 10 app freezing tonight for anyone else. Apple tv.
God the producers and editors are making this season shit.
I’m actually happy it’s a short week as they’ve stuffed it up so much. I’d still like to see them try and salvage this but the obsession with the idiot and the model is far too much sometimes.
Let’s hope next year is an actual return to OG BB and thank god for the livestreams
Just grab Matt Huisman’s IPTV playlist and AirPlay it to your Apple TV. PM me if you want access to the link. It’ll open in a new Safari tab which you can then enlarge to full-screen and then when you AirPlay it to your Apple TV, it’ll begin playing automatically.
Note though if you leave full-screen or exit Safari, or your phone goes off during playback, the playback on your Apple TV stops too. So I’d suggest setting your Auto-Lock and Brightness settings to Never for the time being and using Low Power Mode when you need your phone off.
been working fine for me.
I actually think this cast is one of the better set of reality show contestants in a long time. Sure some stand out as more annoying than others but overall they are quite a good bunch.
