The watermark countdown now reads hours, minutes, seconds.
It’s kind of distracting but I guess that’s the point (thankfully as when I switched it on there was one of those paid ads disguised as a tourism show).

I see that the morning reality encore is back in 10’s schedule for the second week of BB.
A helicopter flying in Dreamworld this morning.
Will there be a time when a helicopter with BB wrap flies? We’ll see.
They’re also at Supanova Comic Con. (c/r Triple B and event’s FB page)
So basically the gist is:
- No Week 1 evictions - Do we really need 6 straight days of “getting to know them”?
- As @sav001 has noted, most BB contracts worldwide are 3 seasons long, and so is this one
- Finale date is subject to pushback if things are good
- No confirmation on voting procedure with a 7pm network structure
My ratings prediction: 1.8M reach, 600K average. Would love to see the 5 city breakdown if available.
Then on Monday both numbers will be 20% lower in the same way second episode of anything new sheds uninterested viewers.

Unfortunately no dedicated article in the local Sunday Mail regarding Big Brother this morning. Still hoping that local media can embrace the production that is great for the local industry. Breakfast radio on the GC and Brisbane should be all over the show each day.
There was an article about the Paramount Upfronts in the SM and included some info on BB and revealed that new KIIS breakfast host Craig Lowie Low “has quietly joined the show’s production team as a producer.”
There was also this as part of the quiz page 
Interesting, as there is a big article in today’s Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun which takes up most of two pages. It includes an interview with EP Sarah Thornton.

The reward if they succeeded – a party for the house. If they failed? Misery.
Yes. Getting to know the HMs is the key to the whole show. I’ve been rewatching the Ch 10 seasons and comparing to the crap 7 served up it’s night and day. Evictions have no meaning if it’s people we have seen in literally no more than 5 minutes of footage.

I never make predictions, but as im interested in the ratings for this (and will be the only thing I watch regarding BB), I’ll say 180k for News+ with 680k for Big Brother.
I’m wondering if we might see a Love Island Australia situation here where Big Brother might be one of those shows to smash records on 10 app and be more successful there rather than on the terrestrial network television.

BB is a timeslot catered to a wider audience though so it will probably do a bit better. Also, on the 10watchandstreamfree app, 10 will probably promote the 24/7 stream and other streams more and the clips of episodes they usually do for these types of shows might do better than the actual episodes themselves on BVOD.
