Sarah Thornton is Network Ten EP. The Endemol Shine Big Brother EP has never worked on The Project (to my knowledge).
A show of this scale would have a lot of Network input.

Hereâs a screenshot from the credits of the 2007 Launch of Big Brother, sourced from the official stream on Big Brotherâs channel. Tim Toni and Kris Noble are the executive producers from Endemol Southern Star, as it was known at the time. Chris Blackburn and Cathie Scott are installed by Ten to oversee production on behalf of the network.
As an aside, 2007 is the only season, to my knowledge, that has had dual executive producers from the production side. After what happened in 2006, they demoted Kris Noble and brought in Tim Toni to help fix their issues.
Youâve ruined it Ten. Youâve absolutely ruined it. ![]()
Ten has a habit of adding 5-second bumpers for a new show/season at the start before airing one of their extended promo inserts. But I will say for a show like BB, this latest stunt has gone terribly wrong.
Inserting the BB 5-sec bumper before inserting a promo of another show with BB basically hacking into that other showâs promo? Not good enough Ten.
Again, youâve ruined a potentially perfect opportunity to capitalise on letâs say a DoND or Your Gen fan wanting to get a taste of whatâs going to happen in the next episode and replace it with an iconic Aussie instalment of a show from 2001. Yep, 2001. The very year BBAU began, on Network 10.[1]
Hope this makes it onto TVBlackbox.

I feel like Big Brother could do well for 10. Only major competition reality tv wise is Golden Bachelor. I think coming into the silly season it could be light, relaxing family viewing that engages nostalgic old fans and a new generation of young viewers if 10 pull it off
Disagree entirely. This is the best marketing campaign we have ever seen from BB. I LOVE the fact he is taking over the airways! So on brand!
Day 2 of the BB final week ad campaign. Anything new happening or the same stuff we know of already?
i think thatâs a bit of an over-reaction
yea it was a mistake, but donât think it was intentional
personally, i love how hard theyâre going in the promos now!
It will have the 2 semi finals and final of MKR to compete with too but after that it shouldnât have any competition, apart from sport like Ashes
I took it as that poster being sarcastic. Is there really that many people interested in whatâs coming up on Your Gen or Deal lol
Iâm sure its sarcasm
There were ads running at Town Hall station in Sydney this morning that had the BB voice telling people to stand behind the yellow line and to make sure to tune in to 10 at 7pm on Sunday, which I thought was clever.
Kyle was sick for some of the hosting on the last season on Ten though he was present on the one with Pamela Anderson lol.
Saw that on the live stream damn that was cringey.
And he called Rima âthe midgetâ ![]()
I wonder if any stations on the Gold Coast have similar now!
That reminds me of the plasma screen in the wide TEN-10 Sydney newsroom in the background of the 2008-2011 frosted news set, theyâd usually set it with the bulletinâs logo (like âTen News At Fiveâ) and would be seen behind the second/right-hand presenter, such as Deborah Knight or Brad McEwan. There was also a plasma that looked the same on the set, OTS, for that same presenter.

As for the network EP, did Tate depart? He was the long-time Ten reality/entertainment or OB EP going back to the OG BB and also did Iâm A Celebrity.
She teased that Tim McDonald could be heading in to Big Brother as an intruder
Dog House interruption promo is on rotation
Imagine if they somehow interrupted 9news or 7news with their BB interrupts promos
never gonna happen but would be cool
I guess considering how stuck in the 20th century the Aussie commercial networks are when it comes to competing with each other (i.e. not sharing talent, petty scheduling moves) that the Aussie networks donât advertise on their competition.
I donât think Iâve ever heard of NBC advertising on CBS, or ITV advertising on Channel 4, or Three advertising on TVNZ?? ![]()
Itâs not an Australian thing, itâs just not a thing.
