Big Brother

(Reggie) said reliving the early episodes left her “an absolute emotional wreck” as old memories — and familiar faces — resurfaced.

Wouldn’t be interview with Reggie without Rob mentioning he’s “seen her map of Tassie” why that’s funny or needs to be mentioned every single time he interviews her, I have no idea. If anything it’s creepy and gross .

This is what the 4th “live web show” that Rob has tried. Might be time to let it die mate. Flogging a dead horse/ego trip. You’re not going to get your own TV show…

I like Reggie but I really struggle to watch that interviewer.

Wasn’t he doing a 7news show? Did that get axed

Yep replaced by The World with Hugh Whittfeld. Which now Rob does “Media McKnight” in addition to the show above on his channel. Most streams average around 60 people as do the clips…

Big Brother features on Nine News in Brisbane 2012 - Josh leaves the house when told of the death of his brother includes an interview with BB phycologist.

Might be his fourth but this is the first one he has been successful in monetising and growing an audience.

Not accurate. He is averaging 1000’s of views across Facebook and YouTube. Many of his best clips are getting many more views.

Season 4 is streaming on YouTube this weekend. I feel this was the show’s peak in terms of casting and production.

Even still, only half, if that, go above 1000 and even so the monetisation for only a couple of thousand on a video is a pittance.

That seems low compared to the first season on 7. According to this tiktok by Sarah McDougal there was 56k applicant for that season.

I’ve seen clips online of him sitting with Jackie on the couch talking to evictees but i can’t recall that .

Had it in my head the reason they couldn’t air Season 8 was because Kyle and Jackie O didn’t want their season shown and given permission/ to allow their faces to come back online connected to that season. Eg… contract was very limited and didn’t include online rights.

Though yes the housemates stuff too ,

You are using YouTube views as the metric. These counts are never accurate. The true value is reflected in YouTube studio which incorporates a lot of other things including memberships, super chats etc.

Well sadly I don’t have access to his account … unsure what else I’m to go off :joy::joy:

However I can’t see him making much money trying to be an online talking head figure… based on what I have seen.

Did they show the Miriam episodes for S4 on Youtube?

Yes.

The infamous Merlin silent protest eviction is also at the start of this part

I never realised they actually crossed back live to the housemates to tell them what happened, I guess they needed to fill the airtime, but in that moment they dropped the premise of the housemates not being told of anything that happens on the outside, and also dropped the whole charade of pretending there’s no crowd/audience and stage etc.

In later evictions they then show the crowd behind Gretel in some of the crosses to the housemates and they can be heard commenting on some of the signs they saw being held up with their names on them. Meanwhile Gretel still tells the crowd to be quiet because “they don’t know you’re here”
