@TV_Addict just out of interest, how old are you? I only ask as sometimes the perception of age is relative to your own. The older I get (I’m 52) the younger the “kids” look these days. I swear my GP is just out of high school.
BTW, REALLY enjoying the Youtube marathon. What a time warp!

I’ve been dipping in and out of the live marathon but wow doesn’t/ didn’t Blair look so much older then 19 years old. You don’t notice it at the time obviously but now he looks at least 24 there. Big fella for 19!
Though on Home and Away the younger characters (late 20’s early 30’s ?) look older and yet the older characters like Alf , Irene , Marilyn, Justin don’t seem to age much look the same as 2010 for example . Irene’s hair style change and Alf’s reduction in hair … Marilyn ? I guess the actor living in the UK helped.
Gretel is 38 on Season 1 i think . Anthony Albanese was 38 back then hard to imagine .

Google says she was born in 1978 and he was born in 1981. So she’s older.

I wonder if more men now don’t shave as much . Lot of people my age group have beards you don’t see many clean shaven guys completely hairless faces these days . Also a lot of guys my age have tattoos which perhaps sometimes makes you look older too though could be this town.
Also everyone was so dressed up going into the house in dresses and heels etc in the more recent series but back then they looked smart casual more natural.
Rewatching old seasons and you have a different perspectie of age when you’re two decades older. Seems ridiculous now that we used to consider 30 year olds the oldies of the house!
Been some glitches on the stream. Missing sound at times when they were talking and sometimes it went pixelated on the screen then black for a second then came back.
I just watched her eviction episode on the live stream. At the end they said she would join Gretel for a debrief on the next live show. She didn’t join, nor was her name mentioned at all.
All clips of Channel 7’s incarnation of Big Brother on the bigbrotherau YouTube channel are now unlisted and their respective playlists deleted. Before the marathon the videos could still be found in public view by going to the playlists tab as the channel had updated the titles of the playlists.
What this means is you’ll still be able to find whatever videos are still cached in Bing or another search engine. Though you won’t be able to find them publicly anymore if you search on YouTube.
Wouldn’t be surprised though if Network 10 just actually straight-forward deletes them off their bigbrotherau channel completely rather than unlisting them.
Just watched the finale and the Sara Marie eviction. Gretel was an absolute queen. I hope they have her involved in some way. Perhaps gretel should be a big Brother???
I love Mel tracina but she has a lot to live up to as host of the reboot
Nothing will ever beat the reactions of those first season housemates coming out to that crowd at dreamworld. That was prime Australian TV.
Yeah I watched an eviction last night (can’t remember who) but they had the housemates in the yard and could hear the crowd cheering and one of the housemates said something along the lines of ‘we’ve been here for a few weeks doing nothing’
