Army Cadets. They were deliberately misleading about it to make it look better
No I dont think it has been confirmed but it has been speculated on.
Personally, I would like to see them bookend the year with Big Brother. Start the year with a normal series and then end it (or post olympics) with a Big Brother All-Stars: Old vs New to celebrate 20 years since the format began in Australia.
surely an all stars version would have to go back to the old format. different personality types and a different approach to casting shine in the new format.
Why do you think that?
With the series shooting in October I think you might be right about book ending.
The next season is shooting for 10-12 weeks from October-December. I would expect it to replace MKR and air after the cricket in Feb/March.
Yeah that is what I thought as well. Similar production time to this season.
I think Angela would be hilarious in the jungle but I wasnāt a fan of her in BB. I donāt watch Survivor but if I did no doubt Iād understand all the strategies that the housemates are planning. I still prefer to see the housemates getting along and bonding, rather than plotting against each other.
Personally I think they should have called it something different but kept the Big Brother name in it like Big Brother: Revolution or something. I think its been good they have tried a different format for the show and made it more 2020 relevant. It has clearly resonated with viewers and been hugely successful online. I too prefer the interactions but they did need to try something different.
Disagree. Would love to see how our Favorite Housemates play the new version.
I agree the new version is the perfect show for previous housemates. We have already seen and gotten to know the contestants in the old format. It would seem a bit repetitive if they went back to the old format for them. If anything I would prefer they did a more original format for new housemates.
Some might disagree but the Big Bash will probably be a better promotional lead-in for Big Brother than it was for MKR
I wonder how it would do against a very similar concept in survivor though
With Murder in the Outback documentary premiering next Sunday (July 12) at 7pm, Big Brother will only be shown on Monday and Tuesday nights. But with only nine housemates remaining and the top three set for the finale, I canāt see the current season stretched out for much longer. With two eliminations per week, I reckon the finale will be on Monday, July 27.
First episode that feels like the old style Big Brother not talking about gameplay⦠so farā¦
1000 cases in Australia⦠seems like months ago
23mins in back to the usual format again.
I canāt believe how boring this season is. Did they really have to copy everything from Survivor? This is no longer Big Brother. Itās 2020 and we are getting less footage than ever. And 7 expects people to vote for a winner when the show is almost over and we barely know anything about the housemates? What a joke. And here I thought nothing could be worse than Nineās Big Brother.
Was it because they had to cut it short due to COVID-19? the second filming later in the year will be longer?
Yeah itās dumb, vote for someone based on what? Weāve seen no normal footage only them talking about gameplay or doing challenges.
Even if they had to cut it short, there is no reason why they couldnāt have shown normal conversations between the housemates instead of focusing on non stop nomination talk all the time.
Hopefully people would be voting for the best gameplay. They should have renamed the Big Brother so this confusion didnāt happen. I disagree with it being boring. I have enjoy the season and viewers have been watching in droves.
I wouldnāt say rating now below 700k is viewers watching in droves. Even when you add in the VPM and consolidated ratings the show is only getting around 800k viewers. Only the 2014 season of BB has rated lower. Itās good for 7 considering their current situation but nothing spectacular.
We will have to agree to disagree on the show being boring as to me every episode is repetitive and the evictions have been also very predictable.
The non stop nominations talk every episode means there is no room to air any normal housemate interactions which is what the show should be about if you want people to vote for a winner.
