There is no way possible. Those magazines are all printed and delivered to shops from this afternoon. They can do a special flip cover for the back of the magazine next week.
That would be a nice tribute.

I dread TV Weekâs âtributeâ - theyâre currently running with "began his TV career in 1957 with Graham Kennedy on âIn Melbourne Tonightâ ", which is just plain wrong.
If itâs not âHome & Awayâ, they donât know. Or care.

Yeah, I agree. A far better idea would probably be to name a single Logie Award after Bert (The Gold? Most Popular Presenter?) rather than the whole thing.
Wow, 10pm must be about the latest that 60 Minutes has ever been screened?
Good that Nine are running a tribute program to Bert Newton, although youâd expect nothing less from the network he probably spent the longest amount of his TV career at.

Youâre probably right but given the quality of the ABC News package last night I suspect the obits were already prepared.

For someone of the stature of Bert, the obits would have been prepared a while ago and regularly reviewed to make sure they are up to date - especially in recent times with his health. At a minimum the stories would have been written (with a few gaps for more up to date coverage), clips chosen and may only need a voice over and a few interviews.
With the speed of news online now, you often see in early versions of articles how they turn these obits into prety well set and forget until such time as the articles are needed

I thought it was interesting the first package presented on Nine was voiced by Brett McLeod.
Are state Funerals open to the public?
That would have been done a few months back prior to him leaving for London.

The program schedule update provided by Nine is correct. Nineâs over the air EPG also updated to the new schedule.

I am not home and trying to record the Bert tribute program using the fetch appâŚâŚ not sure if I should record 60 minutes showing at 8:30âŚ?
The Bert tribute goes for 85 minutes. So you would have to record Nine News Late as well.
Usually, although itâs likely to be ticketed in some way to control numbers so family and friends would be prioritised. Keep an eye out in the papers for details.
