They said at the Upfronts that they plan to schedule new programs for 52 weeks of the year so why not just show it as summer filler on 7 and then 7mate?

Cricket is not on every night of the week. It would be perfect to slot it in between test matches and target the same viewers on those nights.

Season 2 has five episodes like season 1: three heats, the semi final and the grand final.
Funky Monkey (monkey bars on different angles) is the new obstacle in the dry zone. Also, teams had only three minutes to pass through water gauntlet, two minutes less than season 1.

Spartan was good, lots of team chemistry and personal background.
Probably would’ve been better if the teams were random selected and had a girl on each team. The suba team easily handling the obstacle course.

I watched the yesterday’s episode and it was so fun. However, I looked at the ratings from today and noticed that this show failed to crack the multichannel top 20. I just couldn’t believe why this show rated so soft.

Just looked at the numbers - in the list of multi channel programs Australian Spartan ranked 91st.

I didnt even know there was a new season until I came here, my partner put it on and I assumed it was a repeat from last season. Clearly there was not enough marketing.
