Australian Spartan

Fanboy? Not quite there yet but thanks all the same :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Honestly, Seven needs to stop jumping on the bandwagon and try something else. Comedy and family shows would work well compared to ‘reality’ shows.

I personally think the majority of people on Media Spy would like to see a very competitive Australian TV landscape, because that would be a good thing for viewers and the industry in general.

However, Seven have been the #1 TV network for over a decade now and have become fairly complacent with their success in recent years. With that in mind, I don’t think most people are particularly upset to see Seven being challenged in the ratings (although that’s not to say the current programing quality of either Nine or Ten is amazingly better, of course).

In a couple of months they’re launching a new reality show called Divorce At First Sight followed by Travel Bugs and Date Time.

False… I dislike 10 as much as seven and nine. Free to air in this country needs to do better. Bouquets and brickbats when appropriate.

The constant fascination in everything Ten must be coincidental.

I think the final three episodes of the season will be shown on Easter week (April 1-3), leading to Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on April 4. That means My Kitchen Rules will take a three-week break.

Episode three is still scheduled to go to air in New Zealand next Sunday night on TVNZ2.

It will be one of rare occasions where an Australian show is shown overseas first before local viewers get to see it.

You mean in a late-night slot? Surely not in prime time with still a week to go till Easter.

It’s part of the two weeks of non-ratings.

Will they play out the rest of the series that week since they’re playing an extra MKR ep this week?
