#2

Disappointed there was nothing for Bruce McAvaney and Tracey Grimshaw.

#3

Did you nominate them?

#4

Congratulations to all the honorees.
Normally the honours list is announced at midnight AEDT on January 26. Seems that this year News Corp broke the embargo, posting an article at Herald Sun website at around 11pm last night (Friday January 25), then the other media outlets followed suit.

#5

Has an OAM. These people are nominated by the public, so go ahead and nominate.

#6

Interesting re-reading Den Den’s career highlights!

#7

The article above was cut down to highlight just the main media aspects. More career highlights at the official site.

#8

Never heard that nickname before.

#9

Usually reserved for Denis Walter, but what the hey.

#10

No of course not, I wasn’t invited to and don’t have time to trawl government websites looking for bureaucratic processes I need to comply with to get outcomes. Logies voting is easier and takes up less of my time.

#11

Yeah. Get your priorities right.
