Apple has issued a voluntary recall of its wall plug adapters because of a risk of electric shock.
The AC wall plug adapters are two-pronged and designed to be used in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and South Korea.
Affected power plug.

Just got mine replaced at the Apple Store. No questions asked and don’t need to book a Genius appointment either - unlike what Apple’s website said at the bottom of their page.
This is the replacement plug.

So you only receive the plug bit, not the whole unit?

Yeah, only the plug bit. I believe the actual unit itself is not defective.

i had to do 5 online as New Zealand doesn’t has an Apple store or dealer that does this
