In synchronisation, coverage on all 3 channels began 9.08pm AEDT.
BBC channels Or ITV etc?
What I was referring to was the usual suspects - BBC, Sky, GBN.
Other than that, all main channels sticking with regular programming. Although there was an advisory on Channel 5.

If they started in sync I’m guessing they were under some sort of embargo perhaps
Andrew’s arrest was first item on 10’s Late News tonight.
Surprised 7 and 9 havent provided breaking updates.
The World is recapping the story at regular intervals on the ABC news channel.
Slight correction above - BBC began coverage at the top of the 9pm hour. Sky and GBN was 9.08pm.
Not sure what the delay - assuming there was - was for, but that’s what we have.
Baffling for Nine considering this is what they are capable of doing.
Arrested on his 66th birthday today.
Headline story on ABC NEWS 24 bulletin right now.
Instantly went to front page on all Australian newspaper mastheads and extensive coverage too within 25min. This should be major for breakfast TV in the morning, probably special editions.
Over in the U.S., networks have been able to react swiftly.
UK main channels - ITV1 first up by a very wide margin. Still nothing on Channel 4 and 5.
Nothing on BBC1 even though no action in Milano-Cortina. The responsibility - even if it’s a simulcast of the news channel - went to BBC2 and scheduled until midnight.
10’s Late News had just another update within their bulletin. With a press release (letter) i believe from the local police where Andrew was arrested.
Good to have their late news on air.
UPdate in 10 Late News
10 also reported the news in an earlier update prior to the Late News at approx 9:19pm
7 News with local updates in Sydney and Melbourne - that do not mention the arrest - how embarrassing.
Not a good look from Seven. Obviously their pre-recorded News Updates are just that, and done way too early in the night by the looks of it.
Anything from Nine yet? Or are they going to wait until the 5am Early News?
