Other versions of Alone franchise have visited Arctic Circle before.
Whilst the series is yet to be formally renewed a new season in the Arctic Circle will screen this year. But producers are already on the hunt for the next cast.

SBS is yet to settle on where it will programme Alone Australia but the extreme reality contest takes place in the Arctic Circle.
“I am obsessed with this show, and in fact, it’s the only show where I watch the first couple of episodes, and then I watch it go out weekly on broadcast. It’s kind of the only show that I will sit down with my boys to watch. They love it, too,” she says.
“The competitors are going to have to deal with snow for the first time, frozen lakes, sub-zero temperatures. The shelters that they’re building this year are really quite incredible. What’s that saying… out of need comes innovation? I have seen the first two episodes, but that’ll be it for me now.”
