Someone needs to remind Triple M that their Warragul station is now Triple M.
Apparently the West Coast v Gold Coast game is on Triple M and Hit in regional WA (Hit taking the AFL Nation call). Somehow I doubt that’s correct.
The Hit stations taking AFL Nation are on an existing deal that was previously for Red FM under the old Redwave management.
I think the deal concludes after this season. SEN will probably put up low power transmitters in those markets once it ends.
Hence only the northern WA Hit stations are taking the call
Does that mean the northern Triple M stations aren’t getting the Triple M call?
Nope - per the MMM website
All Triple M Perth coverage is networked to all Triple M WA Regionals
With Hit Broome, Geraldton, Karratha, Port Hedland and remote WA taking the SEN/AFL Nation call for West Coast and Fremantle games, commercial FM radio offers little variety on matchdays in these markets.

I notice that Voice 99.1 FM is broadcasting Bulldogs v Eagles and Dockers v GWS this Sunday. Is that the community radio station at Yarra Valley outside Melbourne?
Triple M coverage for Round 2
Interesting to see how this will work. I’d reckon they’d be better off either reinstating SportsEars or getting a low power FM repeater of either AM or TV commentary.
Seems that the ABC has lost the rights to broadcast the 3.20pm game in Victoria, if it overlaps with the 1.10pm match. The ABC had been able to join the 3.20pm match at around quarter time in the past two seasons.
However the ABC’s coverage of that game can still be heard via the AFL website and AFL official app.
AFL Nation coverage for Round 3
Triple M coverage for Round 3 - It is covering all nine games this round for listeners in Victoria, Adelaide and Perth.
The triple M coverage seems suss to me.
Is BT really doing all 3 Saturday Games? Leigh Montana and Daisy doing 2 Saturday Games?
Doesn’t Dennis normally do the WA game? Something is up there.
It’s pretty clear some errors have been made with the Saturday listings - commentators/pundits don’t usually do two games back-to-back
ABC Radio will broadcast today’s AFLW qualifying final between Melbourne and Fremantle from Casey Fields at 1pm AEDT. It will be streamed on the AFLW website and AFL official app. Joel Peterson and Jess Webster will call the match with Bulldogs AFLW coach Nathan Burke and Carlton captain Kerryn Harrington on special comments.
The other AFLW qualifying final between Collingwood and North Melbourne (3pm AEDT) will be broadcast on SEN in South Australia, but will also be streamed on the AFLW website and AFL official app.
