That would have been a better way of putting it. Although I am sure there are a bunch of clubs that wouldn’t mind having the opportunity on the big stage.

Both BL captains also removed their Rom Barassi Medals too. It was a case of wearing the same as everyone else not being superior than anyone else

They aren’t losers medals. Just straight up disrespectful, especially to take it off right away.
It will be a party atmosphere at the Lions’ training HQ at Springfield this afternoon, when the women’s team takes on the Crows at 3pm, before the family day at 5pm when fans will get to see Chris Fagan and the premiership players.

John Longmire in my opinion is the AFL equivalent of Ricky Stuart. The reason why Horse coached the Swans to a premiership in 2012 was because he inherited the team from Paul Roos who retired as Swans head coach in 2010. Same with Stuart when he coached the Sydney Roosters to an NRL premiership in 2002 as he inherited the team from Graham Murray who left after 2001.

They tried it twice and it didn’t sit right with anyone. I was all for a night GF but I too didn’t like it as much as I thought. My preference is the 2:30 GF but if people want a compromise I think trying a twilight is an option.

that’s the main reason why it was a night Grand Final that year.
