It’s great you are so passionate!!! It’s a pity the sun don’t have more supporters in the Gold Coast. It would be interesting to see how many members are outside the Gold Coast.
People on the Coast do want the Suns to play well. When I do travel up there for the game I often get asked how the Suns went or get wished good luck by the locals. We just need to change this support amongst the community into bums on seats attending matches. What I will say though, getting to the stadium is a pain. They really need to extend the G-Link and add a ferry to the Stadium.
Offended. The sun already has a club.
No.
Relax mate, I’m not Caro, this is Media Spy, just some healthy discussion.
Robbo, is that you?
Here’s a Brilliant Opportunity for the AFL to do Some Scrutiny and get that Silly Club out of the Competition.
STOP. We aren’t going anywhere buddy
As If, The Suns are just Nobodys because Young People leave the Club and it’s Impossible to Replace those Players, Accept it.
This is true.
This… is not true.
As I said, they are not a destination club at the moment, and, from the outside, it does not look like they are building anything at the moment. Their on-field performance has effectively gone backwards in my eyes. You can only hack that for so long until you start to ask questions.
Don’t make assumptions without going up to the Suns experiencing it and talking to those around the club… The culture is building, the boys love the club
I am with you on the fact Gold Coast can’t move or fold. But I don’t know if the culture is building or the boys love the club. They played an undermanned Fremantle and an undermanned Port Adelaide and they were non competitive. That doesn’t to me suggest a love for the club. Every year a young player leaves. That proves their isn’t a good culture.
They need to work on this to shut the naysayers up.
Footy Classfied hinted last night the recommendations for Tasmania is going to be a team to relocate. I really think that is a terrible idea.
The COVID cluster in Sydney has forced the AFL to move Sunday’s match between GWS and Hawthorn to the MCG. The start time remains at 1.10pm.
The Sydney Swans have also flown in Melbourne in order to be allowed to go into Adelaide to face the Power this Saturday night.
Lol.
What’s the joke?
Probably that the past few weeks, it was the other way around (from Vic to NSW).
From Fox Footy, the Red was unconfirmed changes at the time, however we know that Brisbane v Geelong has been officially moved to 7.30pm
Not often that the 1.45pm game is on 503, but I suspect that’s how it will all fall out if those 2 games are moved earlier on saturday.
Collingwood v Fremantle will now start at 1.45pm AEST. New starting time for Port v Sydney (and Carlton v Adelaide) also confirmed.
