Its confirmed. 3mp is back for good. Friday Night at 6pm according to a on air message on DAB+
I also believe http://easymusic3mp.com.au will also go live at the same time
I still do not know where 3mp new studios is located. I cant believe that Ace would be able to set up new studios in 3 weeks

Cathy Jubb is currently listed as on air, so announcers will most likely be sourced from existing network talent. Probably voice tracked.

All I know is its breakfast show is being called “Easy Breakfast”
Hopefully someone will record the relaunch of the new 3mp tomorrow at 6pm

Easy music is really not my “thing” but it’s so good to see 3MP back on air playing music not talk or sport or even worse racing radio! I hope it does ok for Ace, personally I would have preferred they went back to Classic Rock that the lovely Craig destroyed.

Source? That’s a great breakfast team if true. Previously hosted 1242 3TR breakfast together 20 years ago. Both have been at Ace most the time since but haven’t been on-air together in years.
I have my doubts though still as isn’t Jon now Content Director at Ace ? So I’m surprised he’s going on-air. I think Julie might still be on-air on Gold 1242 afternoons.
Yes to both and I’m pretty sure Jon is based on the other side of the state, right? It sounds like a great pairing though, they’re both great talent.
Also interesting to note is that the contact page is just copy/paste from TRFM. They could at least remove the part about being Gippsland’s Best Music and their cumes compared to Star FM.
