A jogger sees Cummings and his family in Durham as more and more people fall ill with Coronavirus. Boris is taken to St Thomas’ hospital as his Covid symptoms persist. Care homes and hospitals struggle to cope with the number of Covid cases and deaths.
The Government discusses contingency plans as Boris’ symptoms worsen and he is taken to ICU. Guardian journalist Matthew Weaver investigates reports that Dom Cummings has been spotted in Durham.

Boris continues his recovery from Covid at Chequers, with physio sessions and a new diet. Carrie gives birth as the country continues to try and cope with Covid cases and deaths.

It’s bittersweet as Lauren and Ned permanently pack up their Adelaide life to move back to Darwin. Back in the Top End, as Taya struggles to come to terms with her mother’s death, Lauren and Ned discover that parenting is not a task for the faint-hearted.
Dana secretly tells Lauren that she’s found a way to find Taya’s biological father, but despite her curiosity Lauren’s uncertain that she should open that particular can of worms.
