Possibly, since the King’s Christmas Message traditionally airs at 3pm in the UK also.
Coincidentally, the ABC and 10 will show the Message at the same time of 3pm on Christmas Day.

Interesting - New Zealand has traditionally been the first country to broadcast the message at 6:05pm approx on Radio NZ then on TV at 6:50pm.
It’s embargoed for online usage and UK broadcast until 1500 GMT 25/12 though.

the 3.00 screening is very traditional in the UK, where it is also near zero temperatures and TV has a captive audience. I can’t see a 3.00 screening in Australia where it may range from hot to being f’n hot being of much interest to getting people to switch on the TV in the middle of the afternoon.

Australia Day Live showcases musical performances from our nation’s best talent complemented by a dazzling watercraft extravaganza of yachts, jet skis, fly boarders, and parachutists dropping in to join the fun. All this along with Sydney’s iconic landmarks and harbour create an incredible backdrop for a brilliant fireworks and light show.
The two-hour spectacular is produced by the NSW Government and Australia Day Council of NSW with creative direction led by musical maestro John Foreman OAM together with the multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocalist William Barton.
Australia Day Live will be hosted by John Foreman, Casey Donovan and Jeremy Fernandez and further information on the line-up will be announced in January 2024.

Adam treats a racist pregnant woman, but head midwife Tracy is unimpressed with how he handles it. In a chaotic clinic, Adam discharges Erika, an irritating frequent flyer.
He manages to get out of work on time to attend his best friend’s stag do, but is immediately called back to the hospital to cover a staff shortage, abandoning his boyfriend Harry at the party.
