I’d like to see a 90 year ident that celebrates the use of the Lissajous Curve over the year.
You’re in Luck, because I’m watching Rage I’ve recorded yesterday and I see Below the Logo is the Number 90.
That in itself has never been a reasonable excuse, as all an ident does is push all content out by 7-12 seconds (or more depending on its length) within the hour. Unless there’s an ad airing at :59m:30-59s which gets pushed into the next hour, it doesn’t affect the hourly blocks on non-program matter.
It’s really just an excuse to cut costs as they cost money to design/produce/manage. The longer a presentation package is used for, the cheaper it effectively becomes.
