Yes, they are called ABC News Radio. They were meant to be called ABC News on the Radio, but they realised that was a clusterfuck and reverted to the old name.

Same style as idents over the past few years, but they may have made some new ones.
No idea why ABC don’t seem to air IDs before programs anymore. Very rare to see an ident nowadays. They don’t have the excuse the commercial networks have, of accelerated flow and needing as much time dedicated to ad revenue as possible.

A 90 years promo on ABC Kids and ABC Me shows aired after the 9pm Sydney fireworks tonight.

There were 2 idents shown, one 30 sec followed closely by the second of 60 sec focusing on children’s programming.

Could not agree more.
Sadly is the ABC copying the commercials yet again, including irritating pop-ups in some programs, why!!
Many ABC viewers do not appreciate such vulgar marketing devices, it actually puts them off viewing those programs being promoted.
