KABC Los Angeles has finally switched to the new O&O package, now using the same music as their New York sister.

Like Nine renaming their early morning news under the Today umbrella, ABC seems to be renaming America This Morning to GMA First Look. No other info has surfaced except for this Tweet, whose author seemed to have some inside info re network news:

Earlier, they’ve done an interesting video on their 1996 theme: The producer behind the remixed tune claimed it was never finished, whereas 6ABC believed they played the ‘final’ mix for three days, before pulling it due to public outcry.

The weather centre idea never really took off here.
why would it when you can have a weather presenter at a fashion show or football game?

I guess we have more of an understanding/trust in the BOM, and everyone getting the same data. While over there it’s more of a competition to have the “better” weather forecast (even if the info is the same).
Plus American weather presenters tend to be actually qualified meteorologists. In Australia anyone tends to be allowed to present weather.

The backdrop really needs to be brighter for that time of the morning, that set and lighting doesn’t really scream morning either - looks like it was designed for a very different use.

According to the signed document, ABC News and Stephanopoulos will pay the $15 million to “a Presidential foundation and museum to be established by or for plaintiff, as presidents of the United States of America have established in the past.” The payment must be made within 10 days, and placed in escrow until such an establishment has been formed. ABC and Stephanopoulos will pay an additional $1 million in fees for Trump’s attorneys.
Trump filed the lawsuit after Stephanopoulos said the former president was found “liable for rape” in an on-air interview with Rep. Nancy Mace on ABC’s News Week in March. Stephanopoulos was referencing E. Jean Carroll’s civil case against Trump in which a federal jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming the writer. He was not found liable of rape.
