Good to see Craig Smart on Late News tonight. Iâm not a regular ABC viewer, but I feel like he doesnât present it too often?
Excellent presenter, experienced and authoritative.
He appears to be the Friday presenter, so I guess he is now also the main fill in on Monday-Thursday if needed. Also does some filling in on ABC Radio Perth.

ABC used to have pretty strict rules about what you can and canât wear on air, as far as I know. But I donât think it was ever as strict as SBS not even allowing Rosemary okay Anzac Day, etc. Someone really needs to tap him on the shoulder - you donât even see female presenters getting around with garish brooches.
Anyway, old mate Dan needs about 10 more years in the field and maybe a stint overseas before heâs close to being a good presenter. Itâs a chore to watch.
Tam is really pushing Adamâs arrival hard. Saw a glowing post on Linkedin. And her intro each night has been gushing. Havenât noticed her ever do that with other weather presenters. Strange.
Paul was there before her wasnât he? She hasnât really had an opportunity too???

iView page for Queensland now says Lexy Hamilton-Smith, Talissa Siganto and Laura Lavelle will be hosting (presumably like NSW it will rotate between the three).
Bethanie Alderson has also been added to the weekend news roster in SA, joining Richard Davies and Candice Prosser.
As for Tasmania, weekends are now rotating between Selina Ross, Jano Gibson, Lucy Shannon and Alison Costelloe.
Moving back, she was at ABC previously.
