Bill Birtles (Beijing correspondent) has been reporting from Hong Kong for weeks, there’s probably a rotation of reporters to cover his weekends. Nick Dole did a few days over there a couple of weeks back.
Which all begs the question of when Sarah Ferguson is beginning as a China correspondent.
South East Asia correspondent Kathryn Diss has filed several reports from HK as well.
