ABC TV - Programs and Schedules

I’m curious, when the ABC sends through their forward schedules do they not include whether a show is a repeat or not? I’ve never seen it mentioned I believe, but notice it in the other networks threads respectively.

Call the Midwife?

Yes, repeats are marked. The notation is on a different line to the title and time of the program so it’s inconvenient to import onto the forum. (Same for SBS)

Interesting, thanks for the info.

I had no idea At Home Alone Together was a comedy. From the promos they are running, I actually thought it was a real lifestyle show. The ABC need to do a better job selling this.

ABC has picked up two coronavirus-related documentaries: Coronavirus: How the World is Changing, and Stronger: A Battle Against Covid-19.

Wasn’t Hard Quiz suppose to go for 40 weeks this year? Why is it having a break (the final is on now)?

Mid season break?

And two separate seasons in the one year.

fair enough. I just assumed that it would be a continuous run this year for some reason.

Alleged comedy. It’s garbage.

It’s like a cheapie version of Life Support meets Get Krack!n.

It was a bit painful to watch. Interesting to learn Ray Martin is a swinger. :stuck_out_tongue:

a lot of boomers will be complaining about the rudeness of it lol wow that was a quick turnaround we’ve only been in lockdown for like 6 weeks? To get funding, film and edit this in that short of time? they must be filming/editing eps while they air.

I’d say so. The Trump injecting bleach stuff only happened three weeks ago.

Australia’s Ocean Odyssey

From Tuesday 9 June at 8:30pm

Take a spectacular voyage along the East Australian Current in new three-part landmark series Australia’s Ocean Odyssey: a journey down the East Australian Current.

Taking viewers all the way from the Great Barrier Reef down to Antarctica, this series reveals how ocean currents create life on our planet, and what we can all do to protect our planet’s blue heart.

Hidden in our oceans and unknown to most humans are great rivers of seawater called ocean currents. These are the arteries and veins of planet Earth - a vital planetary life support system that has helped regulate the Earth’s climate, atmosphere, weather and biological diversity for millions of years. This is the story of one particularly fascinating flow - The East Australian Current - an oceanic river that stretches the length of Australia’s east coast. It flows around 3000 kilometres, all the way from the Great Barrier Reef to Tasmania, bringing warm tropical waters to cold southern seas, and in doing so it transforms the lives of every living thing in the region. The East Australian Current is responsible for the fish we eat, the rain that feeds our crops, even the air we breathe. It was made famous by the antics of a determined clownfish in the Pixar film ‘Finding Nemo’, but the true story of the East Australian Current is even more magical.

Narrated by Marta Dusseldrop.

Formerly called Australia’s Ocean Highway at the 2020 upfronts.

Week commencing 24 May 2020
