They’re quicker to update the program title after midday than before then. I think we can expect even more extensive coverage tomorrow.

ABC Melbourne already broadcast local programs on Saturday from 6am to midday. It’s from midday that it will continue the bushfire coverage all afternoon and night, while Grandstand and Evenings are on ABC Listen app as well as Local Radio for the rest of the country.

A nice piece of music was playing on ABC local radio and it prompted me to check whether the stations in the area that have a stereo pilot were outputting a stereo signal. Indeed all of ABC Gold Coast 91.7, Sunshine Coast 90.3, Cooloola Coast 95.3 and ABC 612 DAB+ were in stereo.

They should play this as they make the transition to FM. Something just screams AM to FM transition to me.

Go with the predictable FM-conversion 6WWF or something else? 
Either
6UUF - 6, double U (sounds like W) F
or
6WEF - 6 WEF (sounds like F)

No, a lot of recent commercial AM to FM conversions have seen the station retain its AM callsign on FM eg. 2BS FM 95.1 callsign is still 2BS.

Works for the old WSFM. It’s callsign is 2UUS.
Call sign AbcFm Perth the obvious.
That’s ABC Classic. They all have the zABC callsign, where z is the state.
