Tommy Dean may have not even been in the first episode apparently - according to the 25th anniversary program, James and Gretel say they did it for the first year, then they added a rotating third:

James O’Loghlin still presenting Sydney Mornings and the ABC Radio has changed to show him as the host. I think it’s safe to say that Sarah MacDonald is not going to come back to do a final show.

What the chances that James is the new Mornings presenter? I know Tim Webster has also filled in last week, but it seems to be all James now.

I’d say James is at least the interim presenter - they’ve done the same with Drive for Dom Knight even though Chris Bath is the permanent presenter for next year. They’ve also done the same to programs when presenters are on extended leave (i.e. afternoons listed Tim Webster while James was on leave earlier this year)

I doubt it will be James who will take over permanently.

Friday December 6

Sarah Howells (Sunshine Coast Breakfast presenter) will be filling in for Katherine Feeney on Afternoons in Queensland.

North QLD Drive with Adam Stephen will be heard in Brisbane on digital platforms (most likely a statewide program due to Cricket) in place of the normal program with Ellen Fanning.

Confirmed - Simon Royal had a chat with Peter at the end of tonight’s program. Peter said he would be bringing back all the old regulars and segments

ABC are clueless about chronology, weekend mornings in 2000, September 11 was in 2001, so if he was on weekend mornings, he was filling in on nights.

Has a high absentee rate, often at least one day off every fortnight, two this week.

Ellen is goneski for the year, signed off on Thu afternoon “see you in the new year”

Chris Taylor will host Sydney breakfast over summer.

Loretta Ryan finishing today.

No cricket on local radio today?

Coverage should start right now on analogue radio - digital platforms have normal programming with cricket on ABC Sport

All good - it’s also confusing when they do stuff like run it on all platforms one test but the next they don’t
