Is ABC Entertains becoming a Temu Cartoon Network of sorts?
I wish they pushed that a bit more for linear rather than sTreAm nOw oN aBc IvIEw

It’s still so surreal to me seeing CN/WBA shows on the ABC of all broadcasters (ABC Kids even has a couple Disney Junior shows :scream: )
I’m so used to Cartoon Network being on 9Go! as part of Kids WB

I wish they leaned into it, but it’s really good as an ex-Foxtel user to be able to watch several good CN shows on ABC Entertains. More please ABC.

This intimate documentary follows the final 3 years of Ozzy’s life as he and Sharon plan a return home after 25 years in LA, and prepare for the ultimate farewell gig.

Pulling off either the move or the gig will be a phenomenal achievement and son Jack is worried about the toll of relocating to a country that his parents have barely spent time in over the last two decades, as well as the impact on such close-knit family dynamics.

But Ozzy has never been a man to take no for an answer. With Sharon’s support he sets about achieving his goals, stopping at nothing to make his body work as well as it used to, with the film capturing remarkable levels of resolve.

Looks like ABC Entertains has picked up the rights to Elementary as it starts on 12 January 2026. Previously was a 10 staple.

Why don’t they pick up some Australian programming to screen rather than these third rate programs.

Is there a reason the ABC decided to make ABC Entertains fully ABC Entertains rather than do it like ABC Kids does and split it off into two timeshared channels.
So have the channels as:
2/20 - ABC TV HD
21 - ABC TV
22 - ABC KIDS (4am-7.30pm) & ABC Family (7.30pm-3am)
23 - ABC Me (4am-1pm) & ABC Entertains (1pm-3am)
24 - ABC News

What Australian programming is there? This stuff would be dirt cheap (or nearly free because they’re not monetising it).

Because they killed off Me from linear because no-one was watching it.

Looks like Elementary is airing Monday to Wednesday this coming week around the 9.30pm mark, followed by ER around the 10.20pm mark. The Weekly repeat airs on Thursday night before ER, Friday night movies continue, with ER following it.

ABC Entertain airs the likes of QI and Would I Lie To You at the 7.30pm/8.00pm weeknights.

I would like to see some classic Australian comedies at the 8.30pm mark. Like classic Mother and Son, The Games, ABC’s Kath & Kim. Twentysomething. Or even the odd Drama Series that originally aired on the ABC - like Police Rescue, Brides of Christ, SeaChange etc.

They could buy Australian content from Foxtel/Stan/Paramount/Apple. Some of it is no longer on any platforms.

They did it with Love Me and Wentworth. They have Love My Way and Tangle on iView but not on a multichannel.

Some others could be Spreadsheet, Paper Dolls, Secret City, The Kettering Incident, The Jesters etc.

triple J’s Live at the Wireless

Saturday 7 February 9:05pm

triple j’s legendary live music series, Live At The Wireless, makes its television premiere with iconic sets from some of the best acts in the country.

First up on stage, an unforgettable performance from G Flip live from triple j’s One Night Stand in Warrnambool featuring strings, fireworks and a very special guest

Looks like they might still be in mint condition as the episode on at 7pm tonight was one from 2005.

So they’re back with airing Spicks at 7pm? They had some repeats there at 7pm in recent times - like both versions of House of Games (with Richard Osmand, and Claire Hooper). Not sure what aired before these shows?

Seems they’ve been airing it again from the start since Thursday at 7pm like the old ABC2 days. :slightly_smiling_face:
