They we’re hoping 9 would get interested in combination with ESPN but they don’t seem to be interested.
Nine would likely prefer to bid for all rights, as securing the entire A-Leagues package would strengthen Stan’s football portfolio and allow them to fully cross-promote the sport across their broader asset base. If they partnered with ESPN or any other interested party, their ability to market, package, and promote the code as a whole would be restricted, limiting the strategic value they could extract from the deal.

Paramount in the A-Leagues
Good news for Australia’s round-ball game. A deal is close between Paramount and the A-Leagues to extend their broadcast rights deal by two more years.

Does this mean 10 are still after NRL?
Prolly thee rights are chalk and cheese and the rights here would be ending if they were to pick up NRL. Lots to play out. At least they have some sports content to sustain them somewhat.
Not particularly good for the A-League.
Should have courted Stan, get back in the football eco-system a little.
Nine would’ve been a better fit. Mastheads (Age/SMH and premium streaming service). Also would’ve gave them live sport all-year round apart from cricket/tennis plus those 4 days in the first week of November from Flemington and the Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race.
The rights expire same time as Stan’s UEFA (and EPL?).
I think they cascade one after the other.
