It was odd that the NFSA supplied ACA with an NFSA watermarked clip from Skippy … considering that Nine owns Skippy and still shows it every week.
All i can remember from a TAFE excursion i was on three years ago where we visited the Channel Nine Sydney studios, is that they had archive footage dating back to the Mid-1970’s. They even gave us a tour of where they stored all the tapes.
They must’ve have graphics problems last night because none of the opening and closing graphics were animated, I noticed.
Leila McKinnon is presenting tonight as Tracy is filming an upcoming story.
Special edition of ACA tonight from Canberra. Tracy sits down for a one-on-one with ScoMo.
Nothing in the promo suggested that tonight’s show will be live - so I’d presume that the show will begin with a pre recorded PTC from Tracy followed by the interview for the remainder of the show (as they’ve done in the past with feature interview stories)
Friday 24 July-
Deb Knight is hosting tonight.
Big day for her! Does anyone know if she was on radio this afternoon too?
She sure was. Deb’s Definitely a versatile talent to go from breakfast tv, radio, and then current affairs.
Deb could’ve made it to Willoughby to present the afternoon news after her radio show if she really tried.
Does Nine not have any other talent available?
5:30am to 7:30pm of almost consistent presenting across multiple shows on both TV and radio is nuts and not healthy. Not to mention she would’ve had to arrive at work at 4am and probably left well after 7:30.
Sounds like Nine are just stretching the funds they are spending to have her at the network.
Or Knight loves her job. She could have put her hand up?
Is it a one-off or happening regularly?
Couldn’t they potentially get away with pre-recording ACA anyway so when Deb does fill in she doesn’t have to work such long hours…
It’s not a consistent thing but has been happening quite regularly this year.
Didn’t she used to host both Today Show then Nine News at 6pm some days last year - sometimes the afternoon news too?
What’s to say it’s not?
When the case was heard last Friday, Justice Michael Wigney ordered the parties to attend mediation by September 24. If not, he would set a trial date on September 25.
Thursday 13 August & Friday 14 August-
Leila McKinnon is hosting filling in for Tracy.
