Buried: Knights Templar and the Holy Grail
From Sunday 13 July 8.30pm (4 parts)
The Knights Templar was a large group of devout Christians whose sole mission was to protect European travellers visiting sites in the Holy Land. They were wealthy, powerful, and mysterious, and this has fascinated historians and the public alike. Mikey Kay and Garth Baldwin investigate the knights’ underground movements in an attempt to find out if they escaped being annihilated in 1307 and simultaneously vanishing with the Holy Grail. Such investigations bring the team to the 4,000-mile network that spans from Paris to Jerusalem.

JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald
From Friday 18 July 7.30pm (7 episodes)
In this limited series, former CIA agent Bob Baer and former LAPD Lt. Adam Bercovici take a look at more than 2 million declassified government files regarding the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The files provide new evidence about the activities of Lee Harvey Oswald – Kennedy’s killer – in the weeks, months and years leading up to the day he shot the president. Baer and Bercovici work alongside expert investigators and use state-of-the-art algorithms to examine the once-secret files, in addition to traveling to cities across the world in an attempt to track down leads and retrace Oswald’s steps leading up to the fateful day. Their ultimate goal is to separate conspiracy theories from truth and definitively figure out whether Oswald had accomplices and, if so, who.
